    Laura Rising grew up on the East Coast and has been in Washington for over 20 years. She is a USDF Bronze and Silver medalist with the distinction of earning most of her scores on Off The Track Thoroughbreds. In recent years she has won numerous USDF all Breeds Awards, many of them for her OTTB’s.
    Laura is an active Dressage competitor, most recently seen at the Regional Championships on 2 horses.
    Laura started her training business successfully coaching Three Day Event riders in the area. She rode with many of the areas all-time favorites Amy Tryon, Ruth Moore and Christina Drake. Currently, she enjoys continuing her Dressage education with clinics with William Solyntjes and Kristi Wysoki.
    Laura has owned Hilltop Stables since 2001. Laura lives on site and is actively involved in all the maintenance and upkeep of the farm and keeps a close eye on the health and well-being of all the 4-legged residents at Hilltop Stables.
